Job Description

Basinger CPA is hiring an experienced bookkeeper. Duties will include:

  • Bookkeeping / Data Entry in QuickBooks
  • Payroll
  • Payroll Tax Filings
  • 1099 FilingsWhy Bad Bookkeeping...
  • Office administrative duties as needed

A smile and the ability to make customers feel valued are essential to being accepted for this position. Applicant must also be very accurate and pay attention to details. Experience with preparing individual tax returns is desired but will not be a primary responsibility. You must be familiar wit
h QuickBooks and able to navigate and answer basic questions for clients and staff. This position will perform a wide range of tasks and require
problem solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Hours are flexible; 5-20 hours per week to begin, with the option to increase workload in the future if desired. Starting hourly pay will be determined based on the experience of the applicant.

Qualifications

  • Friendly and confident personality to successfully interact with customers
  • Minimum of one year experience with QuickBooks and general bookkeeping tasks
